  What's LRM?

  Lao Roots Magazine (LRM) is a quarterly* magazine that captures the  
  Laotian American experience and provides a forum for English speaking Laotian
  Americans. LRM exposes the general public to the beauty of the Laotian culture,
  while at the same time introducing them to successful individuals such as Be
  Inthavong (Be&D hangbag designer), Chloe Dao (Project Runway), and Scott
  Phaydavong (Drake U running back). LRM was launched on the principle that we, as  
  Laotians, must define our own identity and reality, instead of being shaped by
  mainstream media.
